We follow the same rounding method used by most banks ie:

Interim values used in temporarily in calculations but nor stored are not rounded.

If the smallest denomination in the currency is 0.01 then

  • We accrue values we round up after five decimal places before storing them
  • When the accrued values are posted or added to a statement they are truncated after two decimal places because you can only repay or get paid an amount to two decimals

If the smallest in the currency is 1, then

  • As we accrue values we round up after 1 ÷ 1000 before storing them
  • When the accrued values are posted or added to a statement they are truncated to the last unit.
